President's Message

Aloha and E Komo Mai to the EWI of Honolulu website! Executive Women International® (EWI) is an organization that brings together key individuals from diverse businesses for the purpose of: Connections, Careers and Community. Our local chapter was established 49 years ago on November 3, 1967. We are honored to have two charter firms who are active in our chapter: First Hawaiian Bank and Sheraton Hotels in Waikiki. Member firms are the mainstay of this dynamic organization, providing access to valuable business contacts one may otherwise not have.

Last year EWI of Honolulu awarded $40, 000 in scholarships to deserving students:

  • $20,000 to outstanding high school seniors through our Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP), which is based on academic excellence and financial need and

  • $20,000 to our Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) scholarship program, a program based on financial need for adult students in various tracks of their pursuit of higher education.

If you haven’t viewed the video on our home page please do so. It’s a powerful testimony to the benefits of membership first hand from the member firm executive and representative. In addition, I encourage you to engage with us at one of our monthly dinner meetings. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month with the exception of December when it is the first Wednesday. Please see our monthly newsletters, EWI Connect, Honolulu Edition, for updated meeting information and the latest EWI news. We would be happy to provide you with more information about EWI of Honolulu. Please give us a call or send an email!
